Michael Laws has wide-ranging Career Transition Industry experience. He has worked with mid and senior level executives on their career transitions, effectively leading them through the path of developing client-based strategic plans.

Michael has a passion for coaching clients from the challenges of being downsized to the thrill of accepting a new assignment. He has extensive experience training all levels of professionals across a wide range of industries, including Pharmaceuticals, Sales, IT, Financial Services, and Manufacturing, and has successfully guided the career transitions of senior executives whose pharmaceutical backgrounds include Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, R&D, IT, and Finance.

Michael has facilitated groups in a variety of formats, from two and three day training sessions on job search to full day sessions on Web 2.0 and social media strategy (Facebook, Twitter, Hootsuite). He has distinguished himself as a highly sought after advanced trainer in LinkedIn, having trained over 800 classes in LinkedIn, Mastering Advanced LinkedIn, and Beyond LinkedIn, alongside hourly trainings focused on interviewing, resume writing, and networking.

In addition, Michael is a Political and Media Consultant, working with Mayors, Congressional candidates, and corporations on their media development needs, producing TV commercials, websites, and blogs. In previous roles, he was a Senior Sales and Marketing Executive, experienced in spearheading rapid and sustained growth at leading technology organizations, including Xerox, Fastnet, and Paychex.
