About Me
Michael Laws has wide-ranging Career Transition Industry experience. He has experience working with mid and senior level executives on their career transitions; effectively leading them through the path of developing client based strategic plans.
Michael has a passion for coaching clients from the challenges of being downsized to the thrill of accepting a new assignment. Mr. Laws has extensive experience training all levels of professionals in a wide range of industries, including Pharmaceuticals, Sales, IT, Financial Services, and Manufacturing. Michael has successfully guided the career transitions of Senior Executives whose pharmaceutical backgrounds include Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, R&D, IT, and Finance.
Michael has experience in facilitating groups in a variety of formats ranging from two and three day training sessions on job search to full day training sessions on Web 2, Social Media Strategies (Facebook,Twitter, Hootesuite).
Michael has distinguished himself as a highly sought after advanced trainer in Linkedin, having trained over 800 classes in Linkedin, Mastering Advanced Linkedin, and Beyond Linkedin. Michael has also delivered hourly trainings focused on interviewing, resume and networking. In addition, he is a Political and Media Consultant working with Mayors, Congressional candidates and corporations on their media developmental needs producing TV commercials, websites and blogs . In previous roles, Michael was a Senior Sales and Marketing Executive, experienced in spearheading the rapid and sustained growth of leading technology organizations. Michael gained his expertise in relationship and consultative selling, setting up and motivating effective sales teams, and formulating strategic sales plans during his career in several leadership roles in Xerox, Fastnet and Paychex.
